ASSIGNING YOUR IP

 

By completing the following form with all the required information, you are authorising Complete IP Pty Limited, ABN: 79 121 180 505 to proceed with the preparation and filing of necessary documents and forms to assign the specified intellectual property (in Australia). If you wish to make a general enquiry, or if you wish to assign intellectual property that is registered in another country please email us.

To assign IP, we must draft a Deed of Assignment unless you have a Change of Company Name Certificate and it is the new company name you wish to assign to. If this is the case we will contact you to request a copy.

FEES:

Effecting assignment, including where and as applicable: Preparing the Deed of Assignment; completing and submission of government forms; liaising with you and government office.

$175.00 AUD For a single assignment or up to 6 assignments where the details of assignor and assignee are the same (relating to trademarks or designs)
$100.00 Per trademark or design if wishing to assign multiple trademarks or designs where the details of assignor and assignee differ with each item

If you wish to assign a registered patent to a new owner, please email us as this form of assignment is often more complicated. Upon receipt of your email we will be sure to respond in a timely fashion with your options for assigning your patent.

NB: Fees are quoted in Australian dollars and are subject to change with out notice. All fees include GST for Australian residents or business. GST does not apply to foreign entities. All fees include government charges if applicable as well as professional fees for the matters described.
